In Infinix Note 5, a 5.99-inch display shines with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a pixel density of 403ppi, which is sure to give the user a perfect bezel-less experience. The display type is IPS LCD and the resolution is 1,080 x 2,160 pixels. The device flaunts the camera behind a fun 12 MP camera and a 16 MP front camera. The rear camera has dual LED flash and the image resolution is 4000 x 3000 pixels. The front camera has a soft light flash too.

The device is powered by a monster battery of 4,500mAh which is made of Li-ion. It also supports quick charging. Infinix Note 5 has 32 GB and 64 GB onboard storage options, which are expandable through both microSD cards (up to 128 GB). The smartphone has 4G volts, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the board include ambient light sensor, compass, g-sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor, and back finger fingerprint sensor. The smartphone packs a 4,500 mAh battery that works with AI power management and supports 18W excharging for faster charging. In addition, it measures 158.25×75.25×8.65 mm and weighs 175 gms.

Infinix has provided the purest Android experience and has not been tinkering with the software. Being a Android One device we do not find Infinix’s XOS skin here and you will get security updates on a regular basis – guaranteed via Google Infinix has also promised the Android 9 Pie update too, which will be the latest Android OS available to date. The Note 5 currently runs on a stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo and it is updated with the July security patch.
To begin the Performance section, Note 5 has been operated by Octa-Core MediaTek MT67763V Chipset, aka Helio P23, which is clock at 2.03GHz, and it has been added with the Mali G71 graphics processor. The device we received for the review was a 3 GB / 32GB version and we found that for the first time the device was loaded, it took a little time to load the app. However, post the first run, the UI has been loaded very fast and smooth.
Storage and Confrigation
The device plays internal storage of 32 GB and can be stored on very large external storage which is increased to 128 GB. Infinix Note 5 has 3 GB RAM and two quad-core 64-bit processors (2.3GHz Cortex A53 + 165 GHz Cortex A53). All this setup is based on the MediaTek MT6763T Chipset and Mali-G171 graphics card which will handle the smooth performance of the device.
