It looks like everyone is engaging in the making of foldable smartphones right now, and this time Samsung also committed to making a smartphone with a foldable screen, as a result, Xiaomi already made a foldable smartphone i.e. Xiaomi Mi Mix Flex, but Samsung showed its hand at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco with the “Samsung Galaxy Fold“.

And this time Samsung clearly thinks that this new technology will mark a massive change in the market.
Foldable Galaxy was first unveiled at Samsung’s developer conference held in the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco on 7th of November, 2018.

Price & Release date
Samsung also cleared up the rumors about prices and release date of the smartphone. The Galaxy Fold unveiled on February 20, the Samsung Galaxy Fold goes on sale on April 26 in U.S & May 3 in Europe.
Starting price of the Galaxy Fold from $1,980 in the U.S and € 2,000 in Europe.
I’ll say $1980 is the starting price of this smartphone, that means there will also be a 5G variant that more expensive, but at this stage, no price has been confirmed.
In the U.K the GalaxyFold available only through Samsung or via EEas the exclusive network partner. You can pre-order on April 26, and Galaxy Fold goes on the market May 3.
It will cost £1,799 from Samsung while EE price plans will be announced at a later date.
Well, In India Samsung Galaxy Fold will come with the price tag of Rs. 1,40,790 (expected).
The Fold is expected to launch on April 25, in India.
This is the 12GB Ram & 512GBIn-Built Storage variant and this will comes in 4 different colors i.e. Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green, Astro Blue.
Samsung Galaxy Fold First Look
The Samsung Galaxy Fold was first unveiled on November 7, 2018, at Samsung’s Developer Conference which was held in the Moscone West convention center in San Fransisco.
Justin Denison said that “We have some hidden elements of the design, but trust me, there’s a device inside and that’s amazing”.
And that’s very good news for us because when the Samsung Galaxy Fold was firstly unveiled on stage. It didn’t look particularly stylish with sharp & boxy corners and a chunky frame.

Design
This smartphone has an Infinity Fold Display, with the help of fold display, you can easily carry your Galaxy Fold in your pocket.

Galaxy Fold featured with two display’s one is cover display, as you can see in the image above, and the second one will be foldable.
The cover display comes in a 4.5-inch screen. According to the South Korean Firm, “this OLED works as same as the other existing Samsung smartphones have.
The second display comes in 7.3-inches foldable Infinity Fold Display that is twice the size of the Cover Display.
A new feature added in the Galaxy Fold i.e “Multi-Active Window”. This feature helps you when playing games, watching movies or running three apps side by side. You can see in the image below
Samsung also said that Whatsapp, Facebook, YouTube and Microsoft Office would be optimized to suit the new square-ish screen.

There’s a one selfie camera in the front side of the Galaxy Fold, the dual camera located at the second screen i.e foldable screen of the smartphone & Triple cameras located at the back side of the Fold.

Samsung has repaired its mobile OS after the announcement of its foldable Galaxy Fold. TouchWiz — the Android skin designed by Samsung and used on its smartphone range since June 2010 – replaced instead with One UI.
Samsung said that with Infinity Flex Display One UI, a new kind of mobile experience allows users to work with a simple smartphone.
“Users now have the best of both worlds: a compact smartphone that comes out. Uncover a large immersive display for multitasking and content viewing. When the device comes in front of the app, the app experiences small changes in large displays without any changes. ”
Samsung Galaxy Fold | 5G, Processor, Ram, Storage and Battery
When Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold some features confirmed that were not previously known.
There will be both a 4G and 5G version of the Fold.
The Fold will feature a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor and 12GB of RAM. There’s 512GB of built-in storage, and there’s no MicroSD slot to add extra storage.
The Fold has a total battery capacity of 4,380mAh, via two batteries which are split on either side of the hinge.
There’s no on-screen fingerprint reader – the fingerprint scanner is on the side of the device.
And here’s a neat feature if you’re traveling: Galaxy Fold is apparently capable of charging itself and a second device simultaneously via Wireless PowerShare, while connected to a regular charger, which means you can go without your second charger.
